(en) The central motif on the obverse is a side view of a Mudi, with its head turned to the right. The obverse also features the mandatory elements of commemorative coins: the inscription ‘MAGYARORSZÁG’ in a semi-circular legend at the top, the denomination ‘2000’ and the inscription ‘FORINT’ at the bottom, the mint mark ‘BP.’ on the left, and the year of minting ‘2022’ on the right.

Reverse

(en) The reverse of the coin depicts a typical Puszta scene: a shepherd herding a flock with two Mudis, with a flock of sheep grazing in the background and a sweep-well (gémeskút). Along the edge of the reverse – incorporated into the depiction of the grassy Puszta – the inscription ‘MUDI’ is visible in a semi-circular legend at the bottom. On the right, the master mark of the coin’s designer, industrial artist Áron Bohus, can be seen.
