The Romanian coins 50 bani (2005 - 2012) are struck in two types. By holding them with facial value up, on the edge, on some is written ROMANIA and on some ∀IN∀WOᖈ.
The same thing can be found on 50 Bani Aurel Vlaicu (2010), 50 Bani Mircea cel Bătrân (2011) and 50 Bani Neagoe Basarab (2012).
I suggest that we should include them both in the Catalog.
Here are my photos made for 50 Bani Aurel Vlaicu (2010):
When there are two edges, when one is upright and the other upside down, they aren't counted as two varieties because no one's going to collect two of each.

I am one of those people who does not recognize edge lettering orientation as a true variety.
I do not collect non circulating coins...
Is this a good reason for not listing them here?
The quality of this site has shown a decrease in the last period.
It's not like we don't list them. We do it ourselves.
The purpose of "Add a coin to the catalogue" is simply to add a coin that isn't listed yet that you own. So whether you do or do not list them, someone who collects them will.

I thought you were talking about adding a new coin. Well if you have requests about locked years, you send me a request right away, unless it regards 'coin' and 'medal' edge types.

I read all your posts and I still believe that we should include both types in the Catalog.
First, SmartOneKg, you said: "they aren't counted as two varieties because no one's going to collect two of each". Sorry, but "no one's going to collect two of each" is not an argument.
Using your "argument" we could also delete all years entries and use periods, because no one's going to collect every years of every coin. For example, for 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980 we can use 1977 - 1980.
Second "Look in the guidelines" is not an argument also. Every rule can be improved in order to evolve.
If a feather, a line or even a small dot exist or not, you say it's a new coin. In my example with edges, you don't care.
