I have also heard that a common con is people trying to pay £2 with a Iraq 250 coin which looks similiar.
many people use world bimetalical coins to pass of as 2 dollar coins all the time, which is a crime.
those two are well known lookalikes. I’ve heard stories of people putting them into vending machines for huge profit, as 1 Lilangeni is worth 5 pence.
Sometimes, I may receive Malaysian coins as pocket change. I've also received a one-pound coin from the UK a few years back. Nothing really interesting here. Coins from Brunei can be used here too but I haven't received any as change before. I had received some notes though.
My father once got a Malaysian 10 Baht coin instead of his 10-peso coin change (we live in the Philippines).
Other than that, he also got a 1 dirham coin instead of a 1-peso coin.

In the Euro zone it's good to be aware of Thai 10 Baht coins going around as 2 Euro coins, they have exactly the same size and appearance.
When I arranged for people going door to door collecting money for charity years ago some of these Thai coins turned up.
I once received a Brazilian 5 centavos as a 5 Euro cents coin, I didn't say anything as that Brazilian coin was worth more to me. The Brazilian coin is slightly larger, but the 5 is very similar to the 5 on the Euro coinage and located up-left as well.
Besides coins I love geometry. The avatar consists of each of the 35 hexominoes used precisely once. With the 5 large yellow shapes placed like this, the solution for tiling the remaining 30 hexominoes is unique.
My mother once found a Panamanian Quarter, she found in a place where you can refill those blue gallons that youl fill with water, but she accidentally used it to in that refill machine before she can give it to me for my collection, but I already have a commemorative version of that coin, I also had found Canadian Pennies that I found in those 50 cent rolls my grandmother gave me since I'm a numismatist.
