There are many times when the commemorative event is different than the series that the coin belongs to.
I would like to see a field inserted below the Commemorative event field for the Series that the coins belongs to. Also having the Series field searchable.
? Format Format Format ? ?
Do not argue with ignorant people .. !! They will drag you down to their level, then pulverize you with experience ...
Evidently the explanation of my request is not really clear.
There are many that collect coins of a series produced by an issuer .. At present there is no way to identify or search for coin in a specific series. Also, there are many coins that have titles that do not directly relate to the series .
By having a Series field below the Commemorative Event field, being a searchable field, all coins in that series would be presented in a search.

Hello,
There are now distinct fields for the commemorated event and the coin series. The series is searchable via the advanced search.
See this coin for example: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces73672.html
Let's now add the series for all the coins which are part of a series!

When clicking at the series name, it redircts to an advanced search with that series name and specific country
wouldnt be better to keep the country field at "all" instead by default?
There are series, like Chinese calendar, which may have the same name despite across distinct countries but still being distinct series. That's why I believe that search makes most sense per country.
Do you have example of series for which a search in all countries is desirable?
Fao, international year of the child, etc is what came to mind when writing my comment
if the same series (lets say wildlife) was in many countries, search will still sort by country so it's all clear
FAO and international year of the child don't look like series to me. They are a common theme, but they don't share common characteristics. I was more thinking of series like the UK Queen's Beasts series, for which all the coins share the same style of design and some common specifications.
The only example of a coin series issues by several states are some 2 Euro coins struck with similar specifications in all the euro countries (Treaty of Rome, 30 Years of EU Flag, etc.)
Seems to be an issue with the link, it uses double quotation marks that are not accepted in the search (single quotation or none do work). I guess a little bug that needs the attention of Xavier

Hi,
would like to add that would be very useful if those fields could be also exported.
