I have a couple of old coins that I have not got enough expertise to identify and would appreciate any help that you can give

Coin 1 probably Islamic


metal: copper/bronze
weight: 2.83g
diameter: 21.2mm
thickness: 1.26mm


Coin 2 May be French


metal: copper/bronze
weight: 5.68g
diameter: 224.8mm
thickness: 1.54mm

Excellent call by Dato. Note that the two sides of this coin are identical. The mint and date are given - Tripoli and 1188. This is not listed in the few references I have.

​It seems many were struck with identical dies by mistake. I saw one exactly like this on zeno, when looking for my coin, which was struck with the obverse die on both sides.

I am guessing the second item is not about 10 inches across
diameter: 224.8mm
May be that should be
diameter: 24.8mm


And yes, may be French - or maybe Vatican with crossed keys.
