I just found that, according to Numista, both of these coins has the KM# 1279. I might dare to say that this is not the case.

According to SCWC the second one is KM# 1279, but I can't find the first one. Any ideas?
I apologize for not understanding you. Are you asking if both exist? I believe I saw them at the same time I saw a pair issued for the return of Hong Kong. I chose those from Hong Kong.

I know both exists, since I have both. But they can't have the same KM#, since they're two separate coins.

According to SCWC this is KM# 1279, the other one dosen't seem to be listed.
Lol. I understand. I was confused. Thanks for making it clear.

The funny thing is, the description in WCC is a mix of both coins' descriptions: "Rev: Modern harbor and city view, birds and banner above". Since there is only a picture of the obverse, there is no way to tell which of them they are talking about.

I suppose you could mark one as KM# 1279 (modern harbor) and the other as KM# 1279 (old harbor).

I don't agree. Only one has a banner, the other one has the constitution. And since the constitution isn't mentioned, I fail to see how it can be both.
I do agree that it is a little weird that the only show the reverse in the catalogue, though.

On NGC, KM#1279 uses a picture of the modern harbour piece:

With that being said, the reference number has been removed from the other one. :)
