Unknown coin, possibly from India [解決]

I got this coin while working at a convenience store in central Florida, and i'm trying to ID it out of curiosity. I'm not sure where it's from, my best guess is India given the style of the writing, though i could easily be wrong there.
I don't have an exact weight, but it feels about twice as heavy as a U.S. quarter, is about 29 mm in diameter, and is roughly 1.5-2 mm thick. again, there is no English at all on this thing, and all i can recognize is the number 5. Anyone know what it is? I already gave the catalog a few searches but didn't get any hits.

Hello and welcome,

It's a Thai 5 baht coin:

Dated 2551, or 2008.
Cool, thanks for the help.
