24 hours per year, starting at UTC/GMT/Zulu midnight (google "zulu time" if you're unsure what the current time is).
No limit on number of users who can post for a particular year, as long as they're within that year's 24 hrs (As in, first post doesn't "claim" a year).
Limit two coins per user each year
-- Exception for sets/series, but limit those posts to one picture per side of the whole set (so 2 pictures total)
Include a link to the Numista catalog for the coin(s) you're showing, so it's easy for people to see more info.
-- If it's not in the catalog, please create a new catalog entry if possible
Picture must be of your coin, currently in your collection. Not what you just ordered on ebay, or a coin you sold last year, or the photo from the Numista catalog, etc.
Non-Gregorian dates count for the Gregorian year they MOST overlap.
-- HERE is a reference for Arabic until 1700 if you need it.
-- Non-dated coins made only one year are good for that year.

I had nothing worth posting from my birth year, but for 1999: 1999 Andorra 1 Cèntim - Joan Martí I Alanis (FAO) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1969.html
A set of Hong Kong coins issued to commemorate the handover of the colony to China in 1997, usually considered to be the end of the British Empire; I don't usually collect post-colonial coins, but this set was very cheap. It's missing the 10 dollar coin, though.
My only interesting 1996 is a US penny. I know it's 1996 because I found it during that year, when a cashier opened a bank roll with 49 brand new pennies, and this.
African coins generally seem to circulate a lot. This isn't my newest ridiculously worn African coin (I have one from 1998 - the Tanzania 200 shillingi type ZacUK posted), but it's the newest that the date had worn away from.
(But, but, didn't I say it was 1996? Well, the date had disappeared, but the privy mark is still (just) identifiable at 4 o'clock on the reverse, and 1996 was the only year this type was made with that mark.)
1993 France 2 Francs - Jean Moulin https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17.html
Commemorating a member of the French Resistance in WWII, who was betrayed to the Germans by an unknown source and executed in 1943.

(I think that's the first dinosaur I've ever seen on a coin, that's awesome!)
If you like dinosaurs on coins, two African countries I referee for (Eritrea and Equatorial Guinea) have whole series dedicated to them from the 1990s. Pretty sure there are also others.
An example of a classic Republican design (Dupré's Marianne) appearing on French coinage nearly 200 years after it was first used, albeit on a commemorative.
Until we get back to the "good stuff", (pre WWII if you ask me), I'm trying to limit myself to posting commemorative issues only.
Very, very humble little coin for 1991: 1991 Soviet Union 10 Kopecks (Government Bank Issue) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3025.html
The last issues minted by the USSR before it's dissolution that December.
1987 France 100 Francs (Marquis de La Fayette) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces30.html
Commemorating "le Héros des Deux Mondes", a French general and politician known primarily for his role in the War of American Independence and the French Revolution.
1986 France 100 Francs (Statue of Liberty Centenary) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces29.html
Can't get enough of these 100 Francs but unfortunately the next year's commemorative, for the centenary of Émile Zola's "Germinal", is still missing from my collection.
1986 D United States 1/2 Dollar (Statue of Liberty Centenary) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4404.html
Non-French commemorative of the same event as the first coin from across an ocean.

Thanks; I just also now learned that you can switch between Ebay sites by replacing the last part of the address, e.g. from "co.uk." to ".fr". I'm now bidding on a piece, I'll see if I can't snap it up for under silver value!
@Mr.Midnight
Aye, but I don't think I'll buy mine back. I think I'll go for a 1986 dated coin, the first year of issue. The older the better, eh. Would've actually been pretty cool if the fantasy 1906 ASEs made by Chinese forgers was a real type!

You did well to vacate your position in physical silver when you did. And you will have freedom to pick up plenty after the bottom, maybe, next year or later. I am no expert, but I listen to them a lot. I don't see any reason to expect a silver bottom above US$10.
Free advice, with caveats that go with such - don't buy any gold this year, either.
Jamais l'or n'a perdu la plus petite occasion de se montrer stupide. -Balzac
@Zac Aye, It's stupid that Ebay should have different sites where you need to create a new account to use; why can't they just have one site with different language options? Oh well, at least now I can easily find the same coin I saw on Ebay.it on Ebay.fr!
@Mr.Midnight Out of curiosity, is there a reliable index I can observe for the price of silver? Not planning on going into precious metal trading or anything, just would like to know optimal times for buying back and selling in the future.
This is actually one of those supposedly commemorative coins that ended up being produced for more than 1 year, like the Oregon Trail half dollar or the 1937-38 Australian Coronation Crown. It was made up until the end of the Franc in 2001, and I don't know why; it certainly didn't circulate!
