It does not look like a cast coin but may be a chinese replica.

It's not the same coin (the coat of arms is a bit different and he said it weights 26g) .

​The one you linked seem genuine.
The seller was just unsure about what he got so he said "medal or silver coin ...." : this coin has no denomination on it, so I guess some people can think it's a medal when they see it for the first time.
