Far leaf Near leaf

Both

But seems that the ones with close leaf have varying water lines under KG

I think it just wear - your thoughts?
It is, what it is, or is it.
Hi Daryl,

just wear, I think.

But I didn't know the variant of near and far leaf, I'll check mine now. It's a near leaf and my only double from 53 is also with the near leaf.

Those variants are on the coin page (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces405.html), but maybe added after you added your coins to the database.
And as you can see, there are also two variants with the far leaf: with and without a fold on the shoulder. I have a few doubles of the 1953 far leaf, both without a fold on the shoulder. I don't have any far leaf with a fold on the shoulder, so not in my collection either.
