The old town (also known as Gamla Stan) and the market streets. Old town is not huge, so even if your stay is not long you can see slot there or have a stroll around the little streets. Great architecture and very scenic.
Also Djurgarden island in middle of Stockholm. Lots of history and again great architecture. There is lots of statues and stuff there, so if interested in history, go.
Vasa museum is great if you are interested of any maritime history and Sweden have a lot of it. There's some old ships almost completely rebuilt from the original material that was saved.
ABBA museum is pretty cool. I guess it is pretty interesting even if you are not a fan.
The royal guards changing their duty over to next ones by the palace.
And all the places by the waterside. Which is pretty much everywhere in old town.

but those are non circulating commemoratives the swedish plate money types circulated, of course the biggest ones not in everyday transactions but maybe if you wanted to by a horse so you needed at least an ass for the assload of money

I've seen those coins in the finnish national museum but not that big!
that's definately the kind of place that I must visit
ofcourse we share a lot of our history with sweden so we have lots of swedish coins in our national museum
