The peso was replaced in November 1973 by the nuevo peso (new peso; ISO 4217 code: UYN) at a rate of 1 new peso for 1000 old pesos...says wikipedia...and here on numista the nuevo peso starts from 1975...
And i am not sure about the first series of coin too (1862-1975).

write this to xavier - it's the easiest way to get this changed. otherwise we had to add a new currency and then change every coin in it by hand
