Did you just buy that?  I think I saw it on eBay.  The seller had no clue what it was either.

I did just buy it, figured I didn't have it, looked interesting, so it was worth risking 2.24 USD on it. Don't think it looks quite like the 1/4 anna though.
Reminds me of Ceylonese Chola dynasty coins.

If anyone is interested in getting one of these, there is a guy on eBay selling 30 of them in individual listings.  The best part is that in each listing he claims they are "extremely rare."
