Help with two IOM coins

I have this two IOM coin with strange mark in the field of the coin.
the first is a 10 Pence 1985 AB https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces10735.html
the second is a Half Penny 1979 AB https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7539.html

I marked the mark with a red box and put alongside a same coin but without the mark.
What are they? Mintmarks?
And they are a different km# ?

I believe they are a different KM because the obverse is later? Possibly?

Maybe the ones with the marks are from mint sets?

The obverse haven't anything strange, they look exactly as the images of the coins in Numista
However I can do a photo if you need it

Than the strange mark is really a mintmark : (w).
I think the same is for the other coin.

About IoM, looks like all coins from 1979 have this mark
from 1/2 penny to fifty pence.
