This fascinating lot includes coinage system samples for the Royal Mint,
produced by Texas Instruments Incorporated. All 8 samples in various metals are
in a black leather presentation case with gold print stating
"Texas Instruments / Metallurgical Materials / Systems for Coinage".
Included is a descriptive sheet giving the various metals stating:
1 - Cupronickel / 70-30 Brass / Cupronickel;
2 - To be issued; 3 - Cupronickel / Steel / Cupronickel; 4 - Nickel / Steel / Nickel;
5 - Nickel / Cupronickel / Nickel; 6 - Cupronickel / 10% Nickel Silver / Cupronickel;
7 - Aluminum / Steel / Aluminum; 8 - 70-30 Brass / Steel / Brass; 9 - 90-10 Brass / Steel / Brass.
