George V 1985 Penny

No not a misprint, using this amazing catalogue to log my collection of UK coins, built up over 30 years, and previously only briefly poorly sorted into year lots.   Anyway, bought a series of coins, most 1930's to 1953  pennies, about 15 years ago, and this was in it.

I know it is a fake, or I presume so, but would welcome comments from any of you more professional people.  Keep it, flog it, value, or melt it?

Maybe an altered 1935 dated coin? 

Seems the most probable as the 8 looks more beaten up than the other numbers.

That is what I thought, but the skill to do it, some 15 years ago, with no discolouration etc, was very good.
