Anyone know where to pick up coins and Banknotes in the Isle of Man? I heard that the Memorabilia shop in Ramsey is closed.. I need some up to date news please??? Bren
From what i've heard the locals in most shops are always willing to help if you ask for change in IOM coins too. Shouldn't be a problem finding some though commemorative issues may be harder in normal circulation.
There is a good mix of British coins in circulation on the island so if you get given those instead of local ones don't be shy in asking if you can have some IOM coins instead. The cashiers have probably met hundreds of tourists doing the same thing.
