US $20 Unique note [解決]

4 posts • 68回閲覧

I found this in change: a US $20 bill with repeating 2s and 3s. What is its name (the type of unique serial number) and its value?

I hear every coin you jingle!

What you have is a Radar note also considered a repeater radar. Depending on the condition: Circulated - $40-$100+

Crisp/Uncirculated- $100-$250+

I would put it in a sleeve and not fold it. Nice find!

Thanks for the information. I have now kept it in a banknote page with the rest of my note collection.

It is not a radar. Radar serial numbers read the same backwards & forwards (or from left to right or right to left) which 22332233 does not do. If it were 22333322 or 22322322 it would be a 2 digit radar. But the serial number is an example of a repeater (2233 repeat).
