Original Dutch banknote design pieces (Joh. Enschedé?)

1件の投稿 • 31回閲覧

Hello everyone,

I would like to share a few interesting pieces from my collection and hopefully learn more about them.

These appear to be original Dutch banknote design or production-stage items, most likely related to Joh. Enschedé (the official printer of Dutch banknotes).

What makes them unusual:
- Visible pencil lines and sketch details
- Layered color application (not fully finished print)
- Mounted on presentation sheets
- Internal reference markings (e.g. “MB/…” and dates like ‘67)

Denominations include:
- 1 Gulden
- 2½ Gulden

These do not seem to be regular circulation notes or standard proofs, but rather design-stage or atelier material.

I am curious if anyone here has seen similar items before, or can provide more information about their origin, purpose, or potential rarity.

Any insights would be highly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
