1937 British Commemorative Coin for Edward VIII WEARING CROWN

4 posts • 63回閲覧

Hi Guys,

I inherited this from my late Uncle but can't find anything about it. All the other versions I've seen have shown Edward VIII WITHOUT a crown (He abdicated so this was probably produced in 1936 in preparation for the coronation).

The weight is 18g and it's diameter is 3.5cm. There's no hallmark in regards to what it's made of but it isn't magnetic so possibly gold plated?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

This is the same as yours
