Hi team, recently I purchased a lot with coins from Indonesia and Malaysia. The following was included:
A curious exemplar of a Tian Sheng Yuan Bao, i suspect is an Indonesian imitation. I have been checking David Hartill chinese cast coins catalogue and the calligraphy is very different.
The previous owner bought the coin in Indonesia.
I would like to confirm if this coin is an imitation from Indonesia.
@by.abay could you check this coin ?
Thank you very much
Greetings

This page N#23690 have one exemplar of 16.79 .
I have just checked this book https://es.numista.com/L110712 and this model have a different calligraphy in Bao especially, so doesn´t match with exemplars registered . I think could be a rebel copy .

Hello
Could be 16.79 with the left hooked feet of the Bao
the indonesian copy are more in tin
and could be a Nagasaky trade coin (often more dark metal than yours)

Good morning from Spain.
I have been studying the type of calligraphy and, yes , could be a Nagasaki trade coin, “Tenseigenpo” . Let's invite @Idolenz and @Sakrificed to the conversation.

Thanks for commenting.
I have just find the Nagasaki style and is too different. As you commented, is not from Nagasaki , 聖 is very different.
Not Japanese and not Chinese (not western Xian calligraphy)
So What could be it's issuer? It's difficult.
Also I have been studying Zeno catalogue but not found.
