Hi guys,

I just created an app to store your collection of coins and banknotes, It will be great if you try it, give your thoughtsand help with new features and fix issues.

It's in IOS, and for the moment, the data is saved in the iPhone, cloud storage is on the way.

The link to the App Store:

I will be awaiting your feedback.

Where do all the pictures come from?

Greetings, Aziz Rouchdi.  Forgive me for asking the obvious, but why would we use your product instead of Numista?  It's a legitimate question.  Have you even tried using Numista to catalog your coins?  What features do you provide that Numista does not?  This is just basic SWOT Analysis 101.

Hi Tony, thanks for taking the time to look into the app, but as I know, and correcto me if I'm wrong, Numista doesn’t have a mobile app — it’s a website.

I made Currency Collector to easily track my own coins and banknotes on my phone, offline if needed.

It’s not replacing Numista, just helping manage your personal collection on the go.

I'm catalogging my collection.

Numista uses a mobile formatted HTML front end for mobile phones.  So yes it's still a “website”, but it functions great on an iPhone.  Try it.

Edit:  you're correct that Numista doesn't provide “offline storage”.  But I would say that this would present a problem if your data is “only” stored locally.  That is, if you delete the app, then you lose all of your locally stored data.  Yes?

Why does it need iOS 26?

I will definitely try it, even though I like more the idea of a real mobile app, with offline mode.

Why does it need iOS 26?

the app was implemented with iOS 26, and as you know, iOS 26 is a huge change, so when the tests of the app in older versions are complete, I will change the requitements to older versions.

I didn't know but OK.  And the pictures? Where do you find all the coin and banknote pictures?

They are mine, I have them. It took me years to get them without buying a single one of them.

Just trying to understand. The user adds their own pictures and other information into the app rather than searching the app for a pre-existing coin?  How many coins are currently in the app?

Maybe I didn't explain the way the app works, It's an app where you can catalog you own coins and banknotes, with details and pictures you take yourself, so you can have it on your device wherever you go, and check them whenever you want.
The app now, store the data on the same device, completely offline, the cloud storage mode is on the way, and many other features.

Is there going to be one for Android mobile phones as well ?

I think your idea is an excellent one as well.

Hi Aidan,
For the time being, there are no plans for an Android version, as I'm not proficient in Android development.
Sorry about that.
