Hello everyone. My eyes catches some unfamiliar  differences between the sizes of the DATES on each reverse side. I can see that the sizes of the dates from the 10c LARGE TYPE & 10c SMALL TYPES are almost the same except for the 10c small type 1935/M. It almost touches the rim that differs to others Despite their conditions.

i just dont have with me a 1929/M to compared with.

there is no mentioning on the comment section regarding  If the M mints “ somehow “ used another die. So, if i may, i would gladly appreciate if someone could provide us information on this matter.
herewith is a comparative photo for your reference.

thanking you all again in advance.

 Here is a picture of  a 1929/M

The date looks the same as your 1907 1908 1918 coins.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Date is larger on the 1935. That doesn't make it a mule.

Thank you my good Sir for sharing your photo to me. I can see now that the 1935/M is closely similar to it.
i almost thought that it was another MULE case.

thanking you again My good Sir for the quickest response to this matter.

thank you.

This is the only other 1935 coin. If the die for it were used to create a mule it would be obvious as the design would exceed the size of the coin.

My good Sir rsirian1, your presentation of that comparative photo is much better. I almost thought that 1929/M is closely similar. But they arent too.

and im right when i see that the 1935 /M is bigger among them all.

and i just thought it was another MULE case , but if i may , why are there any special comment on this?
particularly about its sole sizes that differs among them all? just curious to know too.

My question was late then…im sorry.. your last message was very clear. So it was because the same die that was used on the 5 centavo coin. it is clear now.

my good Sir(s) accept my thanks and appreciation.

thanking you all again.

1. It's not a true variety as all (as far as we know) 1935's are the same large size.  Dies from different years can have minor changes that are not significant enough to warrant a new type designation.

2. No one has added that observation to the coin page yet.

Find a small size 1935 and you'll have something worth mentioning.

yes my good Sir, i will, who knows? Though it seems impossible.

again, my thanks and appreciation to you all.

Hello again everyone. I just wanted to share my observations and because i really still wonder why.

i agreed & accepted all response   because it was your final judgement but technically  i still wanted to seek more informations and clarity personally.

the 10c 1935/M reverse DATE is too distinctive. the die used was intended for  a 5 centavo reverse die date. And it was supported.

why then it didnt earn a” MULE” title?
the 20c 1928 MULE & 5c 1918 MULE happens to have gone thru the very same manner ( wrong dies used)

the mule errors never mentioned any changes as far as the dies where concern. they were just mistakably used. And the case of the 1935/M 10c is similarly like them. All of them were minted by die intended from ANOTHER  coin. unfortunate to mention too that such observation was never noted in the comment section for the 1935/M 10c coin.

Lastly, i dont intend to argue or demand. Its purely curiousity. That learning is a part of all this hobby .

thanking you all again.

a good day ahead to everyone.

Supported by what? Did you not understand when I said it couldn't have been made with the 1935 5 Centavos reverse die?  Here are both to scale.  How could the die used on the left make the coin on the right?

Ignoring the conflict with the collar the 5 Centavos dies would make this on the smaller 10 Centavos planchet.

Im sorry my good Sir if you’re upset with my observations and conclusion. I admit getting confused and somehow interprets your explainations the wrong way. My observations comes with hopes. If i mistaken and caused irritations then kindly forgive me.

i guess its a learning process. Commiting mistakes.

my apology and thanks my good Sir.
