Hi everyone, I don't post alot here and it has been a while because I tend to explore the coin pages much more so I'm more of a lurker here 😄
But I got confused when I saw this - there are apparently 1 cordoba coins from 2008/9/10?? I scoured all the search results and whatever, some auctions, looked at UCoin and Foronum (infact in foronum there was also one from 2011 allegedly??) and I found nothing - no pictures, pages or news articles and such about these coins existing 😂
the Central Bank also indicates that there were no coins made between 2007 and 2012 which seems more likely but…
It's just puzzling me kinda, I also thought that in these years there could have been test/probe mintings, or some people confused the dates)
Honestly I don't know) I appreciate the replies or the explanations in advance and thanks alot for reading this)) sorry if it was too long of a message!

All I can say, is that in my collection those 3 years are also amiss!

The same here, all dates but no 2008/2009/2010:

Yeah I was gonna mention that too, oops.

There's at least one difference though, I stumbled upon these same 3 years in UCoin a couple of months back and in the “coin catalog” on date/grid mode, these 3 years had the text darkened, and I could see the amount of users that had the coin in their collection (allegedly) but today I looked at it again and these all seem to be all removed, only the “greyed out” years show up here:

I think that's just a matter of how Ucoin displays their chart. This is a screenshot from 2017. Hovering over the 2007 year shows a picture of the coin.

Also from 2017. Hovering over 2008, 2009 and 2010 shows no picture of a coin.

And clicking on one of those years shows no member with a coin to swap (again from 2017).

exactly. I wanted to point that out (like on your screenshot from 2017 the 3 years are classified normal) but I didn't have any old screenshots for it 😅 thank you for showing it though, i almost thought i was seeing the page wrong at first)

I've never found any evidence that these dates exist. My guess is, if it was documented that coins were struck in these years, they were dated 2007.

Ohhh that could be too. like in some countries such as Georgia they don't mint coins with different years but they make additional mintages (Romania did it too in 1990 post revolution with their 1/3/5 lei coins if i'm not wrong, please correct me if i am). Great observation:)

I'm so sorry I missed your reply 😅 I think that makes sense! I'm glad that my post here wasn't too useless after all, I was kinda debating if I should post it or not or if I did my research badly)

Likely not, a good point indeed.

On a side note, I can't believe 2002 is still not separated from the rest here. All other denominations have different KM# for that type, this was skipped somehow in SCWC listings.

hmm.. right correct, just checked the grid again there, 5-10-25 centavos from 2002 go in order as “KM97-98-99” but for 1 cordoba from the same year immediately jumps to KM101 no? or did you mean the difference between the coins from 2002 and 2007 onwards?

Also Schön mentions these 3 dates:

hum, i'd probably then like to believe either they made additional mintages with the same year, or it was probe mintages, or could be that it has been misunderstood alot, but i'll keep it here i guess because I don't wanna cause too much confusion, just was curious

i hope this post wasn't too useless of a topic or something very confusing (especially from a country I don't have coins from yet), and if it is i'm really sorry 😅😅

No problem at all, it was a fair question.

I believe we have the same situation with 25 centavos KM#99

Likely both 2003 and 2007 do not exist for this type.

Similar 2007 (2nd coat of arms) is KM#104

About 1 Cordoba 2002 and later issues, I wanted to say that all are separated (1st and 2nd CoA) while 1 cordoba has the same catalog entries in both SCWC and obviously Schon.
Interesting fact:

CoA was actually changed in 1971! So the old CoA was used on all coins up to 31 year later! Amazing.
