Hi to everyone!

I see there is info about Comoro Islands 25 Francs 1981 in all online catalogues and in Krauze.  Even the circulation is supposedly known.  But there is no photo of this coin.  Essai version of this coins are dated 1982, and Essai are usually issued in the first year of coinage.

So it seems that 25 Francs  1981 is mistake.

Has anyone seen this coin?

I have NOT seen it. Neither is it in UCoins.

Even the FAO catalogue by Attilio Armiento says they were not issued for circulation and that that it was probably only a pattern.

 

Well worth getting the book!
