Real or fake? [解決]

Hello, dear collectors!

I have acquired a coin. At first, I thought it was like

N#150575

but however, the “X” and the “W” next to the trident (or maybe “M” and “X”) are missing on the back.

Is this a variation in my case, or have I purchased a fake?

(To clarify: I'm still a novice in the field of numismatics.)

Here are the technical details:

- Material: bronze

- Caria/Mylasa, 3rd-2nd century BC

- Front: horse walking to the right

- Back: ornamented trident with head down

- Diameter: ca. 12,7 mm

- Weight: ca. 1,6g

I appreciate any information and thank you in advance!

The “Λ” (lambda) and “W” are on your coin too but a bit out of flan:

Hello, Essor Prof!

First of all, thank you very much for the quick reply! I had technical problems inserting the images; hence the use of links. Without the markings you made, I wouldn't have recognized the letters (even with a magnifying glass)! After looking at similar coins and the Greek alphabet again, I've come to the following conclusion: the letters must be "M/My" and "Y/Upsilon." For one thing, there is no "W" in the Greek alphabet. For another, the trident is upside down. (And as a signature for Mylasa as the place of minting, this also makes sense.)

Thanks again!
