Dear fellow collectors,

Can someone clarify what exactly is the difference between ‘type 1’ and ‘type 2’ as listed on the page https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7999.html? It seems to have something to do with the leaves, but I'm not sure what exactly should be the difference. Based on the French description I'd say it is this difference:

Type 1: top of left leaf does not come out from behind the full leaf (= “revers à quatre feuilles et demi”) = four-and-a-half leaves

Type 2: top of left leaf does come out from behind the full leaf = five leaves

I'm not completely sure so I'd love some more clarification.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Gerebernus

Concentrate on the first leaf on the left on both pictures.
In the first case, the tip of that leaf is not visble, because the second leaf mostly covers the first.
On the second picture, the tip of the first leaf is clearly visible.

Yes, that is what I thought, thanks!
