A google reverse image search leads us to this ebay post with an identical token, and this description:

This token and hundreds of other similar ones, usually with four or five digits, were minted and used, probably Chicago, Illinois, USA , during the 1940s and 1950s. Their use was predominantly in gambling machines.

Searching for Vens in the numista catalouge gives us two results, including this token. It is of different design, but has an identical description to the ebay post above.

No clue who copied who…
