1983/D Lincoln “ STAIR GUTTER “ cent.

Dear Sir/Ma’am, i wanted to show this coin fr

om my collection. Not much to show on the obverse but there is something unusual figure on the reverse of the coin. I just named it to shortly picture it out. May someone help me identify / classify this coin.

I decided to zoom the photo for clearer viewing. Maybe perhaps get some titles like “double ear die” ? thank you.

Yea Sir…to be more specific i send this picture again..im refering to the horizontal lines on the stairs, looks like a gutter? Yellow colored portion.

I see nothing vertical or horizontal. What you shaded in yellow is normal for this copper plated zinc coin. Doesn't happen on all but does happen on many.

i have so many lincoln cents on my collection. never seen like that from all of them. Maybe perhaps it because its the only one that have it and the first one i saw then. If it is true that it appears many times on other lincoln cent coins then im satisfied with it.
