Hello. Weight? Diameter? It's a forgery.  Look at the size of the mint mark and incomplete letters.

A real one:

From the images i provided, it appears to be an 1852 Liberty Head $1 Gold Coin with a "D" mintmark, indicating it was minted in Dahlonega, Georgia. These coins were produced in limited quantities and are popular among collectors due to their historical significance.

Key Features of Your Coin:

1. Obverse (Front Side):

Shows the profile of Lady Liberty wearing a coronet (crown).

Surrounded by 13 stars representing the original colonies.

2. Reverse (Back Side):

Denomination "1 DOLLAR" and the year "1852" within a wreath.

The "D" mintmark below the wreath signifies the Dahlonega Mint.

Authenticity Tips:

To determine whether your coin is authentic:

1. Weight and Size:

coins weigh about 1.672 grams and have a diameter of 13 mm.

You can use a precision scale and caliper to check.

2. Metal Content:

coins are made of 90% gold and 10% copper. A jeweler can perform a metal analysis.

3. Details and Wear:

coins have sharp, detailed engravings. Fakes often show inconsistencies in font or design.

Exactly. That's why you were asked you to provide the size and weight.

It's still a forgery. What's your point is posting the same pictures?

Can you explain,,what is the problem

Tipu sultan

Already mentioned the most obvious, the size of the mint mark. The mint mark is slanted. The date is slanted. The letters are incomplete.

There were 6,360 1852D Liberty Head gold dollars produce. Yours is not one of them. Along with what was already observed previously by good members of Numista, they  were not produced with Mintmarks above the head on the obverse. Weight and diameter were never provided as requested. Why?
