1 cent Barbados 1990

This topic did not find result In the section" Numista catalog"

I have one cent Barbados 1990, but the weight is 2,5 grams. It is similar to my one cent 1992. In the catalog it does'nt appear. How to classify it?

Try this one...the weight does not match though...if your weight is accurate, you may have a coin that is not in the catalog either KM or Numista...

It is this coin, the Numista team nead to update the catalogue to include 1990 date as this was the year that the changes were made so there is actual 2 versions for 1990, the lighter version which you have, and also the heavier version.

Tony did you get that info in the SCWC (I don't have one)?
 When I checked on the NGC site the KM10a (2.5gm) starts at 1992 - Numista actually has a year (1991) more than they do

There should be an answer. My coin weighs 2,5 gr but not 3,1 gr

I have a Barbados cent from 1991 that weighs 2.5g.  I believe this coin is a metal type error.  

I also have a metal type error Bermuda cent from 1988.

I suspect that whoever minted these coins did not keep accurate or thorough records during the transition years.  It's hard to be honest with Krause when you don't know all the facts yourself.
