can you help,  what is price?

Topic moved to "Banknote identifications and valuations" (ZacUK, 14 5月 2024, 22:03)

In that condition, lightly circulated and multiple holes? 500€

Someone who has the means or the will to collect such high value notes probably will only collect pristine specimens.

thank you,  what is price this?

I'm with @Idolenz  & wouldn't buy it for more than 500 Euros (Face Value). You would be better to wait & try getting a Duisenberg signature from a tougher nation (t or y prefix).   It has very little going for it (most common signature, common nation, poor condition) & is a spender in my books. If you have it & wish to unload it- it will cost you more to sell (due to online selling fees) unless you can sell it in person. I wouldn't be able to take more than 505 Euros for a common note in that kind of condition.

N is the letter for Austria.

A 500 Euro note from Austria would need to be UNC to have any numismatic value above its face value. The same is the case for all of the larger countries of issue.

In my experience, only 500 Euro notes with letter L (Finland) or T (Ireland) have any numismatic value above their face value in grades below UNC.

I was offered one last year in UNC condition (2002 first print) at 550 euro (country letter can't remember). I did not accept it as it's hard to keep high value notes now. Also, I already have one from Ireland (T 2002) in UNC condition. I believe mine has a teller flick on it but it's in UNC condition. The whole Irish set (except the 200 euro) came from the central bank - Bank of Ireland.
