Possible Mel Fisher's counterfeit

Hi, I inherited this cob from my grandfather, ive never been able to identify it. I showed it to an expert cob collector and he told me it is very possible it is a Mel Fisher's (the discoverer of Atocha sunken boat) counterfeit. I Read that even if its a Fisher's counterfeit it May worth around US300

It weighs 19.86 g

Any thoughts on this?
