The year lines are not locked so you can add it yourself, don't forget to also add the signature in the yearline comment.

It says that the information will be added after the verification so how's it unlocked for adding a year if they will still be verifying?
Not locked means any Numista member can create a Change Request (CR) for a year line addition which will then be submitted to the referee for validation. Locked means you cannot create a year line CR but must request it in the forum. You can imagine the chaos that would be created if any member can change a page without anyone in authority making sure it's correct.
Totally agree but they can allow a user to add the year and signature only, nothing more. Imagine how helpful it would for the admins when dozens of notes will be issued this year alone.
But there's a flip side, some folks might exploit it out of mischief etc. So makes sense.
Most referees (should) keep their current banknotes/coins up to date themselves.
Edit: There is no Pakistan banknote referee so that probably isn't happening.
Actually, there's an entry option when you go to the note's page but doesn't show in your collection. So what could be the problem here?
Someone entered the new 2023 banknote improperly. It will have to be fixed by an admin.
So how can it be fixed then?
Theoretically this post should be all that's needed. I would suggest two changes. Edit your original post and change the title to something like, “Change ND (2023) to 2023 on Pakistani 1000 Note” and include the Numista link to the page so everyone reading this post doesn't have to search for themselves to see what you're talking about.
Since one Numista member entered their banknote on this year line an Admin has to modify the date and move that member to the newly created year line.
Has it been done correctly?
Yes.
