Help needed to identify a Chinese cash coin

8 posts • 110回閲覧

Can someone help identify this coin?  The coin is large, 40mm in diameter, 3mm thick, and weighs about 17.7 grams.  A link to the Numista catalog entry would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link.  The inscription looks the same.  What is the significance of the fact that mine is a different size?  Is it a fake?

Hello

Could you make better pictures

How do you get it could help to know for fake or not

Not sure that is genuine

Sorry for the delay.  I bought the coin on an auction site and I just received it.  I'm posting photos.

Thanks for your link, but that coin is supposed to be 46mm in diameter and 26.21g in weight.

The coin I received is 40mm in diameter and around 16g in weight.  It seems like it should be a different coin from the one in the link, or perhaps it's a counterfeit.  How could I tell?  Any advice?  I'd like to know if it is a fake soon, because if it is, I could ask for a refund.

Thanks for your help.

Doubt authenticity. Large value cash coins of this era ate faked often. Cast coins are incredibly easy to fake
