My favorite animal is a capybara (obviously).

And I just wanted to know what yours is,  And are there any coins featuring it?

Here is mine,

N#19104

I do love the world's biggest rodent.

My favourite changed the scientific, historical, and religious world way back in 1938.

I'm a cat person - as I love to cuddle them, fluff them up, tickle them on their feet, & kiss them on the head between their ears.

Cats have a cuteness that no other animal has.

There are more videos of cats than any other animal up on YouTube.

Yes, that's nice and sweet.

Here too an example, shown on coins -450 BC Hemiobol -ancient Greece

People have wanted their favorite animals on there since the first drafts of designs on coins, and this is an example of a useful animal and for thousands of years the technology of preserving meat by smoking.

It was this Saturday and Sunday - folk festivals since the Celts to feel the arrival of spring and a holiday called "Fashang", which includes precise masks and also entertainment and drinking, meat and preparing for fasting before "Easter".,, I follow the traditions, even though I come from a big city, so I have adapted,,

We also like animals, we live in reality and the legacy of our ancestors and most of all we have fun and we don't want to fight and we want to be happy - I have two cats and a white labrador, but they are for guarding the house and pleasure.

In short, Ivan and have a nice, stress-free day.

A rabbit, for obvious reasons. 🙂

To paraphrase W. C. Fields: My favorite animal should be properly cooked.

For me it is the sea gull. Hardy, enduring, graceful, and also playful and joyful.

Cats, as you can probably see.

Cats, as you can probably see.

I can guess you love to do the following with cats;

Cuddle them.

Fluff them up.

Kiss them on their heads right between their ears.

Tickle them on their feet.

Aidan.

Several are right up there, but number one is the Bear, especially Brown Bears

I know they are fierce and wild animals, but they look so cute and huggable!

Bears are independent, strong and don't need humans, they love nature and are self sufficient (Okay they are also alpha predators that only fear humans and the occasional pack of wolves). Intelligent and sensitive animals but giving to violence and a lack of toleration of other bears and competitors.

Dont have any brown bear coins in photos, this is a polar bear on a Canadian $2 coin (Twonie), however a brown bear appears on Croatian 5 Kuna coins between 1993 and 2022.

Also because I identify as a gay bear.

Gorgeous creatures, really like overgrown dogs in their more docile state.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Interesting thing about the Croatian kuna is the name.

Martens belong to a weasel like family. Their pelts were valuable in the very old days and routinely used as a form of payment.

Martens are called in Kuna in Croatian - seems apt to name their currency as Kuna.

I can guess he loves being tickled - including being tickled on his feet!

Of course, cats have a spot between the ears where you can get away with kissing them on their heads.

I don't have a favorite animal - I have favorite animals.

Dogs, for always truly having faith in you.

Cats, for always having their own mind, but standing up for you.

Cows, you can tell them anything and they still wont bother.

Horses, very clever animals and nice to have for a ride in the forest.

I’m a fan of deer, especially on coins. It’s a blessing to watch them slowly graze through a misty field early on a morning. They’ve been a focus of man starting with cave drawings to early coins and into modern coins.

My two cents (or one punt)…

My favorite animal is a fox. Does anyone know of any coins made for circulation with a fox on them???

Canada has a mint set featuring the swift fox: https://www.mint.ca/en/shop/coins/2022/6-coin-specimen-set-swift-fox

Looks like it's no longer available through the mint but I'm sure it's available other places. That price for a fox is a lot better than my option for deer! https://www.muenzeoesterreich.at/eng/produkte/the-red-deer
