It's real, just like a regular website, that's what auction houses are for?

I don't think so - there is some trick to it.

9 000 000 Kč — 365875 USD

What do you think?

Ivan

I don't understand your question. I don't know if those two coins are real – I didn't find any images from that year to compare – it it seems like a straight-forward action. What “trick” do you see?

(I'm surprised to see the two coins sold together. I think two separate auctions would do better.)

Hello colleague, you know the amount of money for which they are sold is simply huge by our standards. And selling such coins through an internet site is strange for us.

,, there are recognized companies - stone auction houses with rarities and at the same time expert supervision and issued certificate, etc.,,

Then we checked what else the seller has, and he really has a lot of rare and expensive coins, only this form is unusual here.

And yes, I agree with you that selling one coin at a time is definitely more reasonable. And I think that such coins belong in prison-plastic and certification and put on the market so where such coins have a home and a lot of interested parties.

,, And I was interested in the fact that there is nothing to compare it to, and that's what you say, and what we have to compare it with here, ha, ha,-I don't have them in my collection - humor

Ivan -

Both coins are clearly counterfeits. Compare the date to examples here: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1921-20/9172 and here: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1920-20/9170

If I was to sell fake coins, passed off as authentic for exorbitant prices, I wouldn't send them to an auction house.

Kind regards and thank you for your opinion. But that would be a shock to me - if they were fakes, This would discredit the seller and his business would mean the end of the good name.

And that is precisely why such coins belong in stone auctions- and through certifications.

Do you have a doubt somewhere about the date?

Well, I don't know these coins, but I would like the opinion of several people from the homeland of this beauty.

I am nowhere near an expert on these, but it looks like to me that the are counterfeits. The way the rays go through the date and the shape of the dates numbers appear off from what I have seen at the coin auction in my town and at coin shops. Also they are off from pcgs which “nobody” pointed out earlier.

100% real crude replicas and perhaps made of gold. Not even close to being genuine specimens. Very crude.

So colleagues, thank you very much.

Colleagues,, harryg, Abecoin, nobody,,-  I think I will contact the seller and ask him for his opinion, if he knows what he is selling.

I would mainly be interested in what is the basis for his claim that he sells original coins.

Should I ask him about it??

Or leave it as it is - no one will buy it anyway, the auction is set from this high amount upwards.

Here I bid 3 CZK ( 0,12 USD)  on a gold Aurelius (definitely genuine) - I win, this is an auction that starts from a crown (and I will definitely not continue) and the price will rise in the last seconds:

This is an example of an auction that has considerable momentum and will be interesting to participate in.

But the dollars really threw me off - that's why I'll wait for a response, if there's interest I'll contact the seller.

Thank you Ivan

It is very difficult to explain or analyze what is going through a sellers mind. Sometimes it is deception and other times they simply don't  realize what they have. Nobody wants to be told what they have is not what they believe they have.  In either case, they are not genuine and I personally would not be concerned as to the motivation behind the sale.

I wish you a nice day and no stress.

Even my wife told me to stay away from it ,, don't put your nose in there,, ( they already burned out the tumor from my nasal cavity)

,, I don't care if everyone buys and sells as they please,,

the seller writes that they are "found coins"    so he probably knows what it is about. And maybe it's just market research to see if there will be a reaction.

So I'll wrap it up and thank you all.
