Need to divide this into two graphics as we've discussed.
1. km66.1 overdate 9/8
2. km66.1 vs. km66.2 (obverse/reverse differences)
That works. Except on the second one the coin on the right should say KM#66.2. I would also add “tilts” to the obverse text.
Perfect.
Hi. I'm back. I started to plan to add a year line for 1839 km66.1 overdate 9/8 to go along with the 1839 km66.1 normal date that's already there. Problem is, I can't find the normal date. Red Book, PCGS and USACB only have 1839 (old style head) as overdate 9/8. I think all 1839 (km66.1) coins are overdate.
Welcome back
I checked that this morning
without overdate just large letters

overdate:

In SCWC you see both types! On the other hand when reading all the above links, I don't see explicitly any notion of all 1839 being 1839/8, so it's a bit difficult to judge🧐
The first USACoinBook link says this, Lastly: The 1839 "Type of 1838" features a "9 Over 8" overdate resulting from an 1839 date struck over the older 1838 date. implying all 1839's (1838 type) were overdates. This would make sense in that they reused 1838 dies at first then went to the new style head dies later on in 1839.
The second Heritage link isn't "without overdate". On that page for that coin is this. Clearly 9/8.

The PCGS link https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1839-10-type-1840/8580 isn't km66.1. It's the Type of 1840 (km66.2) so doesn't count. This is what PCGS has for 1839 km66.1:

I saw the SCWC listing. I think they're wrong. The mintages they show for this coin (all years) are from outer space. They not ever close to the real mintages. I discount SCWC for this one.
Ok. Will change the graphic later.
Yep. That's good.
