Is this a coin or token ( Chinese cash type ) ?

Came across a large (46mm diameter) item, I am not sure if it is a coin or some sort of a token . Any help would be appreciated.

It's supposed to be this variant, a 10 cash Dazhong Tongbao. The Dazhong coinage was minted by Zhu Yuanzhang when he was King of Wu (later became the Hongwu Emperor of Ming). Would be interesting to see whether yours is genuine or not since they are not particularly common.

The characters do not have the fineness of this coinage and it seems that there is only an accent on the tong (right character)

The weight of this piece is 25.3g, which is a bit more than what is in the Numista catalog listing for this design.
