After seeing an odd-shaped coin ( 1 Larin coin ), I found interest on having a collection with different odd shaped coins. Since my area of interest is with old coins, can experts here suggest me with different coins.
Start with the least number of sides. Triangular
Look in Cook Islands
If you go into "advanced search", you see a drop down box for " shape". Click on a particular shape and all coins of that shape will appear. The variation is huge.
I wish you the very best with your collection and in a few years time it will look incredible.
引用する: "BramVB"Link does not seem to work in the old design ... maybe that's the issue
That's correct, the link works in the new design but not in the old design.
But like COINMAN1 I prefer the old version too. So I've switched for a moment to view the link but afterwards switched back.
Xavier will be turning off the old version soon. You guys should just switch over. Once you have used it for a few days you will see that it is much better.

I realise this thread is quite old, but I have been rummaging around my “hoard” of boxed sets, and found my “Time is Money” set which contains this, an odd shape, but is it really a coin?

Thanks
Olbia-Samartia dolphin (yes, they're shaped like dolphins) coins are a must if you're looking for old and oddly shaped coins. Swedish 1600s 1 thaler plate money too.
They tried to match the bullion value of 1 thaler to the face value of 1 thaler, so they ended up using plates with stamped coin designs to indicate value.
