The lion ofcourse is not a real one but the gold is real, i dont know about the coin whether it is a real one . Because i did not purchase it. I have the coin with me.
Not sure what 4.5gms is in ounces - the real coin weighs 0.2354 oz.
I don't know what the diameter should be. I see also that the coin (which is not mine but I believe to be a real one) in my picture has no beading on the obverse, whereas yours sort of has partial beading which goes round to none in parts. So not a real coin like you said (from the lion). Other topics already mention that Chinese fake silver coins are still (sometimes) nevertheless made from silver, perhaps your gold-coloured coin - though probably a fake - may still be made of gold. Again, I am guessing.
Not yet - I looked earlier when I found out it was KM# 1150 (if you agree) and on Iran page (in KM order) they go from 10 Rials KM# 1146 to 50 Dinars KM# 1156 so there are a few gaps.
Though not many members are lucky enough to own gold coins, so they probably only create entries just for coins they have - when entering their collection on here.
ill give you the exact dimensions and weight of the coin again, as iam also not sure of its authenticity, but the gold is real, this coin i had got in 1990 and i had measured the weight at that time ( iam Not sure About 4.5Gms) but ill send u a picture of the coin when its being measured. ill also measure the diameter with a vernier.
Thanks for the info
could you please upload some nice new images here with the coin completely IN the picture.
I would use the ones above but the rim of the coins is clipped of the images' boundaries
