What AA Numismatics collects
- Australian coins and Banknotes
- World Coins and Banknotes
- Ancient and demonetised currencies
- Silver
(Essentially any currency either currently or previously a legal tender, that i find interesting)
If you are New to Numista, and have less than 3-4 Rated swaps (if you have less but its someone i know i may make an exception) and wanting to swap with me please note, as is standard practice on this site you will be expected to send first, once i receive your items then i will send yours.
I always send swaps via untracked mail due to postage regulations around the sending of coins and banknotes. Swaps will be sent flat packed in envelopes to disguise them. I will send a photo of the envelopes before i send them off. You may send however you prefer or is cheapest for you. I just ask for at least a photo of the package if no tracking number.
Any losses Due to the postal services while very unfortunate I will not be held responsible for. If your country requires you to pay an import tax please let me know in advance so i can try and organise a tracking number.
When conducting swaps with users who do not mark the condition of the items they are swapping i will assume and calculate values based off the following:
Pre 1900's assumed condition = VG
1900's (up until 1960) assumed condition = F
1960 - 2020 assumed condition = VF
2020 - 2023 assumed condition = XF
2024 - CURRENT, assumed condition = AU
Please also note i conduct swaps based off Numista stated value, NOT item for item or values determined by any third party site.
