This 6 coin Baby Proof Year set was issued by the RAM in 2002. The Theme was Koala & Baby.

There were four standard definition coins included, 5c, 10c, 20c, & $2.

The 50 cent & $1 coins were commemorative coins, celebrating “The Year of the Outback”, the $1 coin with the coloured logo of the Year of the Outback and the 50 cent coin featuring that well known Australian symbol the windmill in as struck relief.

The antiqued 45 mm pure silver medallion that features a humanised Koala on the obverse, has a blank reverse that can be engraved with the baby's birth details or that special message. A colour-coordinated booklet that fits into the headlining of the presentation case features a place for baby's photo and the immediate family tree.

Coins were issued in a white bound flip case lined with velvet along with the cardboard card, this was inserted in a cardboard outer sleeve.
