Abstract
In the beginning, it was neither the aim of the society nor could its effort to have its own Journal and contributions of the member published in the Numismatic supplements and Numismatic Chronicle. But from 1939 it started the Journal of the Numismatic Society of India and soon became the most prestigious journal of the discipline. We have now 83 Volumes of the JNSI published since 1939. The society is publishing it regularly. It is the annual journal of society. It may not be out of place here to note that the Journal of Numismatic Society of India is one of the most regularly learned journals of India.
