Rich Type 24, ‘South Ferriby Shrimp’, middle period. By far the most numerous type:
Rich Type 24a: 3 on CCI (1 obverse, 1 reverse die). Ring above boar's rump and head, below tail and between legs. Ring below horse (Chris Rudd List 149, 10 October 2016, lot 26. See CCI 01.1704).
Rich Type 24b: 2 on CCI (1 obverse, 1 reverse die). Ring above boar's rump and between legs. Ring below horse's tail. Ringed pellet below. Die flawed.

No rings apart from the large pellet rings above the boar and horse. Many dies are extremely worn to the point of obliteration, indicating a huge, quick production. Many dies are too large for the flan. Most found in north Lincolnshire. A brockage exists (CCI 03.1194) as does an example struck on a half unit flan (CCI 02.1125).
Rich Type 24f: 6 on CCI (3 obverse, 2 reverse dies). No ornaments apart from the large pellet rings above the boar and horse. One exists with a Type 18a obverse (CCI 95.1354). Most are found in north Lincolnshire.
