Watermark and security thread.
In all the issues, the name of the President is erroneously written as “Rafael Yglesias Castro”, when the correct would be “Rafael Iglesias Castro”. The confusion was caused because of the similitude of the capital “I” in cursive to the “Y”, but in the different archives the last name is written with the same initial as names who don't have a variation with “Y”, as “Ignacio". At the same time, the Costa Rican Civil Registry has registered the last name of the president as “Iglesias” in the birth certificate of the president's sons (as it was created years after its birth).
From 1972 and before, the painter's name was erroneously written as T. Villa. That was corrected in 1973, when it was written as J. Villa.
