Known for his central role in the dissolution of the union between Norway and Sweden in 1905. Under his potrait the crowned coat of arms at lower right. クローネ銀行券の第4号は、第二次世界大戦前にすでに発行されていた。戦争が勃発し、トーマス・ド・ラ・リューがロンドンで彫刻を行ったためである。そのため、ノルウェー銀行には印刷を始めるための版木がなく、特に100クローネ紙幣の版木がなかった。

計画では、表には最近の著名なノルウェーの人物を起用することになっていた。

裏面には、スペシエダーラー第5号のように、ノルウェーの伝統的な4つの職業を説明するために、ノルウェーの有名な絵画やその他の人物を使うことにした。

その職業とは農業、海運業、漁業、パン屋である。

しかし、最初の農業は農業と林業に分かれた。パン屋は工業に近代化され、文化と精神生活という新しい職業が加わった。

逆さ絵には、復元されたものもあれば、この日のために特別に描かれたものもある。

定規：

これらの紙幣は1954年から1973年まで発行された。つまり、1957年に亡くなるまではハーコン7世のもとで、その後はオラヴ5世のもとで最後まで発行されたことになる。

Historical context:

The 4th issue of the Krone-banknotes was already on the way before WWII. Due to the outbreak of the war and the engravings being done by Thomas de la Rue in London. So the bank of Norway didn't have the engravings to begin printing, sepcificly they didn't have the 100 Kroner note plate.

The plan was to have a prominent Norwegian personality from recent time on the front.

On the back it should use known Norwegian paintings or other figures, to illustrate the 4 traditional professions, like the 5th issue of the Speciedaler.

Those professions being: Agriculture, shipping, fishing and bakery.

But the first, agriculture got devided into farming and forestry. Bakery got modernised into industry and a new profession was added as culture- and spiritual life.

Some of the reverse paintings are reconstructions and others are made specificly for the occasion.

Ruler:

These notes were issued from 1954 to 1973, which means they were issued under both King Haakon VII untill his death in 1957 and after that King Olav V untill the end of the issue.

Variations:

According to SCWPM, this note also exist in a proof version, which is uniface and blue.

Specimen notes exist as either P#31a, d or f.

Replacement notes has either X (years 1966-1972) or Z (years 1954-1973) as serial number prefix.
