紀元18～17年頃に寄託されたバナサ宝庫は、1907年にモロッコのラバトから北東120kmにある現在のスーク・エル・アルバアの近くで発見された。この宝庫は以前、タンジェの南70kmにあるアルカザール（エル・クサール・エル・ケビール）のものと言われていたため、エル・クサール宝庫と呼ばれることもある。その中には約4000枚の銀貨と1枚の青銅貨が含まれていた。コインの相当数は現在、主にロンドン、パリ、ベルリン、アテネ、ニューヨーク、アルジェのパブリック・コレクションに収蔵されている。
